Sharing His Journey

January 9, 2018

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 8:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until June 30, 2018

This is my first attempt at a blog, and I am not really sure how this is supposed to go, but I am guessing introductions are a good place to start. My name is Kalen Kovitch. I work at the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group in Prince Albert. My wife Kezia and I have 3 wonderful children; Avie, Connor, and Kipp! This blog is centered around my Ideal Protein weight loss journey, and those 4 wonderful people are the main reason for me embarking on this task.

For as long as I can remember (which is pretty much my entire adult life) I have been over weight, or at least what I would consider over weight. I am an average everyday guy who lost track of how to eat healthy. Back when I was in high school I played competitive football, hockey, and fastpitch softball. My metabolism allowed me to eat anything and everything I wanted to without worrying about gaining a pound. Well, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what happened once I stopped playing competitive sports. That’s right…I put on weight, and then I put on more weight, and then some more, until I kind of hit my max anywhere between 250-260 lbs.

Being over weight wasn’t really enjoyable, but it was manageable before my kids were born, but being over weight with 3 little kids running around leaves a guy feeling old, sluggish, tired, and useless! I like being active. I want to have energy to burn. I would like to play competitive sports again, and I would love to be able to keep up with my kids and all their activities and still have energy left over at the end of each day. The only way I can get my life back…the healthy life I want is by taking this Ideal Protein Weight Loss journey!

I am thrilled to have Jan and Nicole; the experts at Gray Chemists Pharmacy help me every step of the way! It is definitely not going to be easy, but it will be rewarding. I am not looking forward to giving up things like potatoes, pasta, milk, and bread, and I certainly will miss having a couple beers with the boys after rec hockey games, but I consider these small sacrifices in order to get back to a healthy diet…to achieve my weight loss goal, and help me become the energetic, athletic person I remember from high school.

I hope you will follow my journey, and see how this amazing diet program will help me reach my goals! See for yourself the difference Ideal Protein will make in my life, and how the coaching I am going to receive from Jan and Nicole is invaluable!

Cheers,

Kalen
